As an avid City of Tulsa Park user and speaking on behalf of the thousands of pedestrians that cross Fry Ditch Creek at Hunter Park along East 91st Street South, we would like to see a safe crossing that allows us to avoid the hazards of walking in the roadway or traversing the steep, rock lined embankment of the creek. Hunter Park is home to one of Tulsa's most heavily played disc golf courses and currently all park users that want to access the east side of the property must cross Fry Ditch Creek. Additionally, any pedestrian commuters must make the same decision, both of which are a concern of public safety.
