To the Secretary-General of the United Nations and Member States of the UN Security Council,
We, the undersigned, are deeply alarmed by the escalating violence and humanitarian catastrophe unfolding in Gaza. Thousands of innocent civilians, including children, women, and the elderly, are suffering from relentless bombardments, displacement, and severe shortages of food, water, and medical supplies.
The principles of international law and human rights obligate all of us to act when human life is under such dire threat. Silence or inaction in the face of mass civilian suffering is not an option.
We urgently call upon the United Nations to:

Demand and enforce an immediate ceasefire to stop further loss of innocent lives.

Guarantee the safe and unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid to those in desperate need.

Work towards a sustainable political solution that upholds human rights and dignity for all.
Every day without action costs more lives. The world is watching, and history will remember how the international community responded to this tragedy.
We call on the UN to act decisively, uphold its mandate to protect peace and human rights, and ensure that humanity prevails over violence.
