* Location: Pondy to Cuddalore Bypass, specifically outside the Hyundai Showroom.

2. Facts of the Case
The Petitioner, Edaiyazhagan, states that on the morning of 23th April 2025, while he was at the Pondy-Cuddalore Bypass near the Hyundai Showroom, the Respondent (KV Murugan) drove the vehicle PY-01-CZ-7642 in a rash and negligent manner. The vehicle struck the Petitioner, causing serious bodily injuries. The accident was caused solely by the Respondent's negligence.
3. Liability of the Respondent
The Petitioner submits that:
* The Respondent is the owner and driver of the vehicle involved.
* The Insurance Policy for vehicle PY-01-CZ-7642 was not live at the time of the incident.
* Therefore, the Respondent is personally liable for the total compensation amount for the injuries, medical costs, and mental agony suffered by the Petitioner.
4. Particulars of Claim
The Petitioner claims a total compensation of ₹2,00,000 (Two Lakhs) under the following heads:
Medical Expenses (Bills & Hospitalization) by 50,000
Loss of Income (During recovery period) 50,000
Pain, Suffering, and Mental Agony 1,00,000
Total Claim Amount 2,00,000
5. Prayer / Relief Sought
The Petitioner, therefore, prays that this Honorable Tribunal:
* Direct the Respondent (KV Murugan) to pay the Petitioner the total compensation sum of ₹2,00,000 along with interest at 9% per annum from the date of the petition until the date of actual payment.
* Grant any other relief the Tribunal deems fit in the interest of justice and settlement of amount very soon oresle they will move to custoday.
