We, the concerned citizens and students of our community, respectfully submit this petition to raise awareness and encourage immediate action against climate change. Climate change continues to affect our environment through stronger storms, extreme heat, flooding, and rising sea levels. These changes pose a threat to human health, our homes, and the future of the next generation.

Because of this, we ask our local government to implement and support programs that will help protect the environment. These may include tree planting programs, proper waste management, reducing the use of plastic, and promoting clean and renewable energy. It is also important to conduct educational campaigns to teach citizens how they can help protect our planet.
